Phoneserve Hardware Certification Programme^TM

In order to offer our customers a variety of ways to place calls (e.g. PC, IP Device etc.), whilst also ensuring only the highest standards of compatibility and performance on our network, we have introduced the Phoneserve Hardware Certification Programme. Using such devices ensures that Phoneserve will provide any necessary deployment and operational support. Such devices can be purchased directly through either your local distributor or your Phoneserve Account Manager.

At the same time, many of our distributors offer additional devices unique to their respective markets, and that perform equally well on our network. For information on pricing and availability, please contact your local Distributor.

The following list includes the current Certified Devices currently available directly from Phoneserve with a brief description of their respective functionality and applications:

PC to Phone

For placing calls from a PC, using our Internet telephone software, we have certified both the VoIP Voice Cyberphone and the VoIP Voice Cyberphone K.

2 Port Gateways

2 Port gateways are highly cost effective, enabling the user to plug one or two traditional telephones into one of two ports on the device to place calls with our service. We recommend either the AddPac 200b or the Cisco ATA 186.

4 Port Gateways

4 port gateways are ideal for applications such as offices, Call Shops or Internet Cafes, enabling the owner to plug-in up to 4 traditional telephones, allowing up to 4 simultaneous calls. We have certified the ITG 400s and the Cisco 827.

8+ Port Gateways

8+ Port Gateways are designed for significantly larger applications such as Call Centres, large businesses and hotels. As we are currently evaluating several cost-effective solutions, please contact your Account Manager or Distributor for further details.

VoIP Voice Cyberphone and VoIP Voice Cyberphone K

The CyberPhone and the Cyberphone K are telephone handsets that plug directly into the USB port on any PC. The Cyberphone enables the user to dial the destination telephone number on the screen, directly upon the Internet softphone software, while the Cyberphone K also offers a full dialling keypad.
